What this job involves.
This is a hands-on senior engineering role covering the full stack: designing and maintaining scalable applications, building robust APIs and backend services, and delivering responsive web front ends against them.
It carries technical influence beyond your own commits — driving code reviews, technical discussions and engineering best practice, and working across Product, Design, QA and DevOps to get high-quality releases out.
What you will be doing.
- Design, develop and maintain scalable full stack applications.
- Write clean, efficient and production-ready code.
- Build robust APIs, backend services and responsive web applications.
- Solve complex engineering problems using strong data structures, algorithms and system design principles.
- Optimise applications for performance, scalability and reliability.
- Drive technical discussions, code reviews and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, QA and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases.
The profile that fits this mandate.
- 6–8 years of full stack development experience.
- Strong hands-on coding skills, with expertise in data structures, algorithms, OOP, design patterns and system design.
- Solid understanding of time and space complexity, and of scalable software architecture.
- Experience building enterprise SaaS products from scratch.
