What this job involves.
The Security Consultant — Security & Risk Consulting will play a key role in leading and delivering physical security consulting engagements. The role involves managing projects, conducting security risk assessments and audits, coordinating with clients and contributing to the development of security frameworks and solutions.
The role also supports proposal development, quality assurance and documentation, and contributes to building capability across the Security & Risk Consulting team.
What you will be doing.
- Lead and oversee research and analysis activities for PESTLE assessments, threat and risk evaluations, and security benchmarking.
- Prepare and review comprehensive risk assessment reports, threat matrices, site security programmes, procedures and policies, and audit summaries.
- Manage data collation, structuring and visualisation for client presentations and proposals.
- Engage with clients to understand requirements, provide updates and present findings.
- Support business development through proposal making, solution articulation and the creation of reusable knowledge assets.
- Mentor junior analysts and interns, and contribute to capability building within the Security & Risk Consulting team.
The profile that fits this mandate.
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in any field. A degree in Security Management, Defence Studies, International Relations, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in security consulting or related domains.
- Good understanding of physical security systems, security operations, risk assessment frameworks and security design principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and research or intelligence tools; familiarity with visualisation tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a consulting environment.
